FOR SALE: AN 1899 LIBERTY HEAD NICKEL.
The images show the actual coin you will receive enlarged to about 5x magnification.
My scanner does not pick up luster, tends to wash out the fields and exaggerates flaws.
The white highlighting on the edge of some devices is reflection from the scanner glass.
GRADE:
VF20 Details: My opinion based on ANA Grading Standards and my experience
but I am selling this coin as an F15 because of the minor rim dings noted below.
Please look at the images and decide for yourself before you buy this coin.
CONDITION:
Entire design is clear and bold but with moderate wear.
All letters of LIBERTY are visible.
More than half the details visible on hair and curls.
Motto letters worn but strong.
Leaves worn but many ribs visible.
Minor rim dings on obverse at about 10:00 and reverse at about 3:30.

The coin will be shipped in a plastic bag inside a reinforced bubble-pack envelope.
