FOR SALE: AN 1889 INDIAN HEAD CENT.
The images show the actual coin you will receive enlarged to about 5x magnification.
My scanner does not pick up luster, tends to wash out the color and exaggerates flaws.
The actual coin is darker than the images and looks much nicer in hand.
The white highlighting on the edge of some devices is reflection from the scanner glass.
Images of LIBERTY, the shield and the ribbon are also included enlarged to about 10x magnification.
Please keep in mind that images at this magnification exaggerate any imperfections.
GRADE:
VF30 Details: My opinion based on ANA Grading Standards and my experience
but I am selling this coin as a VF20 because of the spots on the reverse.
Please look at the images and decide for yourself before you buy this coin.
CONDITION:
All major design features are sharp.
All letters of LIBERTY are visible.
Lower edge of the ribbon around the arrows is visible.
Rim ding on the reverse at 7:30
Denticles are complete.
Spots on the reverse.
Other grading details should be visible in the images.
